Chennai

After completing my school, I joined a college in Salem. But, I had to drop out after the first semester because my family could not afford the fees.

Later, my father made me join a private company as an office boy. My salary was Rs 5,000 per month and I had to serve coffee and tea to the staff and deliver mail to them. Since I had to reach office before others, I had some free time and I began to learn designing. I spoke with my Managing Director regarding my interests and once a designer quit, I was given a chance to prove my talent in graphic designing. Five months later, I took up a correspondence course in visual communication in Loyola college with my savings.

After that I worked with another company for a year as a graphic designer, and got the chance to edit videos for short films. At that time, I did not have any laptop or internet so I had to borrow a laptop from friends sit in a railway station for two hours to use the free internet. Then, I started to improve my editing and designing skills. Now, I am part of a video editing company and have also started my own business.

I am working hard to become better at my work and it leaves little time to spend with family.
