This is the first time working from home in the automotive industry. All my work was either on track or at the office. I have never thought of this as an option. I am saving a lot of time now because I don’t have to commute. My new office has a work from home option. I now have a lot of time for myself and family. I have grown close to my mother. I love to cook and I am helping her now. We do our daily chores. For 10 years, I never had breakfast with my family. Now I get to have breakfast at home and at peace. There’s a lot of introspection. For example, I was able to improve my skills in origami.
I can make more complex models now. I am also passionate about music. I have been using lockdown to build on that. I play the keyboard. Now I use Geoshred, and app on the iPad to play music. I recently posted a cover to Hotel California. There’s a lot of uncertainty during this time. The market is not stable. There are many kinds of crises that will come out of this pandemic, and an economic crisis one of them. I have been thinking about the future. The industry is definitely on a downhill. I’m trying to develop other skills like design and illustration. I believe there’s always a way out this. If you think like that you will be at peace.
