Special trains for Pongal

An official statement said, “Train No.02854 Ernakulam – Howrah special fare special train will leave Ernakulam at 08.50am on 12.01.2016 and 19.01.2016, and reach Howrah at 11pm on the next days (Wednesdays).” The special trains will have one AC 2-tier, four AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class and 2 Luggagecum-brake van coaches. The announcement further said, “The special fare special trains will have stoppages at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajamundry, Vishakapatnam, Brahmapur, Kurdha Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak and Kharagpur.” Advance reservations for these trains are open.
