10 day sathram begins in the city

It is being held under the guidance of the Mukhya Yagnacharyan Brahmasri Thottam Shyam Namboodiri. Over 25 acharyas from Kerala and Tamil Nadu are participating and will give prabhashanams during the 10-day-programme. The recital of Srimad Bhagavatham Sanskrit Moolam and the discourses on it are being conducted from 6 am to 7.30 pm. The aim of this event is to  spread spiritual devotion among people to help them dedicate all their actions to the Lord Almighty. The sathram is being held at the Sopanam Hall of Mahalingapuram Ayyappan-Guruvayurappan Temple in Nungambakkam.
