As per the ruling by the court, Registrar (legal services) filed a complaint at K Pudhur Police station against Sasikala and her family members and eventually they were booked for forging with their signatures.
It all started with a sexual abuse complaint by a former maid of Sasikala Pushpa against her and three family members at Pudukottai Police station in Thoothukudi district. Though a case was booked, Supreme Court had given protection against arrest for Sasikala and family.
Meanwhile, Sasikala had filed an anticipatory bail petition at the High Court demanding bail in the case. But government claimed that the Vakkalathu signature in the bail petition was fake. Based on the argument, the High Court cancelled her bail petition.
Meanwhile, police security has been sought for Sasikala when she arrives in Thoothukudi to attend the 13th death anniversary of Venkatesh Pannayar on September 26. She is expected to visit her hometown Sathankulam before flying back to Chennai.
