AIADMK questions VCK stand in Nellithope poll

While canvassing for the AIADMK candidate Om Sakthi Sekhar at Nellithoppe, he wondered on what basis Mr Thirumavalavan had extended support to the Congress party. Anbazhagan said, Thirumavalavan should make this clear to the people before criticising the AIADMK. He also wondered why Thirumavalavan who is striving for the cause of the SC people is supporting Narayanasamy who had diverted the special component plan (SCP) fund meant for the upliftment of SC people here.

Anbazhagan  charged that V Narayanasmay, being the Chief Minister has been  violating the model code of conduct right from the election notification date. He is distributing money to voters with police protection, he alleged. He added that despite complaints in this regard to the election department, no action was initiated. The AIADMK on the guidelines given by party supremo J Jayalalitha is conducting a peaceful electioneering in the constituency. Frightened by the increasing support for the AIADMK, Narayanasamy is levelling charges that the party is trying to stall the by-election. There is no need for AIADMK to stop the elections creating law and order problems, he added. But, the AIADMK would press the election commission to postpone the elections in view of the model code violations, misuse of power among others of the Chief  Minister, Anbazhagan said.
