Police probing murder angle in actress Suguna’s death
Police probing the death of actress and television host Sabarna Anand alias Suguna (28) said that they found ganja, tobacco and alcohol from her apartment. They found that the door was not latched from the inside.

Continuing their probe into the death, police said that they had not broken the door to enter the apartment in which her body was found in a highly decomposed state.
Her neighbours who reported the foul smell from the flat were not familiar with the actress who had worked in Tamil and Telugu indus
try. The actress has allegedly ended her life by slashing her left wrist with a sharp object.
Police said that the reason for her death would be confirmed only after her post-mortem.
The actress’ body has been kept in Kilpauk Government Medical College and Hospital for the autopsy.
A senior police official said that Sabarna lived in Aqua apartments in Seemanthamman Nagar in Maduravoyal and occasionally had friends from the industry visiting her.
She preferred to live alone as she could focus more on work and her parents lived in Saligrammam near Virugambakkam.
On Friday, police found her body in a highly decomposed condition in a pool of blood. A diary belonging to the deceased was also found by the police in which she has written about a failed relationship and her career.
Daugher of Anand kumar and Pushpalatha, the actress is a native of Udumalaipettai in Tiruppur.
Sabarna has appeared in Pasamalar on Sun TV and hosted quite a few TV programmes. She has also acted in movies such as Poojai, Kudiarasu and Kalai
