According to police, Siva Kumar (34), a resident of St Mary’s 1st Street, Gummidipoondi, went missing two days back. His first wife Renuka Devi with the help of her relatives found Siva Kumar lying in a pool of blood inside his second wife Priya’s house. There were deep cut injuries on his face.
Police found Siva Kumar’s bike and pick up van outside Priya’s house and the woman missing. Police traced Priya to her parent’s house at Mayavaram and picked her up along with her parents. Police sources said Priya alone could not have murdered Siva Kumar and a third person could be involved. Police said Siva Kumar had married Renuka Devi and the couple have two children.
However, he later became close to Priya, who lived on the lake side at Gummidipoondi and married her. He has two children in the second marriage as well. Police said of late, Siva Kumar and Priya had been fighting regularly and Siva Kumar was reported missing two days ago.
When Renuka Devi came to Priya’s house, she found his bike and van parked in the front and the house locked from inside. Renuka Devi also found that the back door of the house was locked from outside. She then informed her relatives. They broke open the door only to find Siva Kumar dead in a pool of blood with deep cut injuries to his face.
