Over 300 pirated DVDs of Baahubali-2, new movies seized in Chennai

Over 300 pirated DVDs of new movies, including 'Baahubali-2-The Conclusion', have been seized during a raid conducted in the city and ten persons arrested in this connection, police said today.

Yesterday, special teams conducted raids at various locations in the city, simultaneously, and seized 350 DVDs, a police release said.

Pirated DVDS of latest movies like "Pa Pandi" and "Kadamban" were also seized during the raid, it said.

The release said 12 special teams, comprising more than 300 police personnel, had already been formed to nab culprits employed in manufacturing and marketing of pirated DVDs.

Recently, a delegation from the Tamil Film Producers Council led by  President-Actor, Vishal submitted a petition to  the Greater Chennai Commissioner of Police seeking steps to contain piracy.
