Pon Radhakrishnan condoles Anil Dave's death

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan condoled the death of his cabinet colleague and Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave.

Expressing shock and grief over his death, Mr Radhakrishnan, in a statement said, Mr Dave was instrumental in holding the  traditional Jallikattu (the bull taming sport) in Tamil Nadu this year by extending his full support to the Tamils.

Recalling that he had met Mr Dave thrice on a single day on the Jallikattu issue in New Delhi, he said his death was an irreparable loss.

Stating that Mr Dave had dedicated himself for the nation's cause, Mr Radhakrishnan said total commitment, dedication, quality thinking and easy understanding of the problems were his special qualities and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

He also said he would pray the Almighty for his soul to rest in peace.
