The state government is also scheduled to introduce a GST bill in the ensuing session, which is scheduled till July 19.
The debate of grants for various departments will be taken up during the session.
The session comes in the backdrop of rumblings in the ruling AIADMK, with rebel leader O Panneerselvam disbanding a panel set up by him in April to hold merger talks with rival Amma faction led by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy.
Further, a section of the ruling party legislators has called on AIADMK (Amma) Deputy General Secretary TTV Dinakaran, prompting speculations he was trying to assert his position in the party.
Dinakaran was recently released on bail by a Delhi court in connection with a bribery case where he was accused of trying to bribe an Election Commission (EC) official to wrest the party's Two Leaves symbol.
Further, the DMK-led opposition is also likely to raise a range of issues relating to drinking water supply and the farm sector among others.
