The song which was released on all social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp, received 20,000 views on City Police’s FB page alone, while the private channels took the hits to lakhs.

The song, directed by Niranjan, picks on a range of issues such as underage driving, not obeying traffic rules, riding bikes and cars without wearing helmets and seat belts. CoP AK Viswanathan had said that the idea behind the song was to reach out to the masses about the importance of obeying traffic rules in a simple way.

Meanwhile, city police will observe this Sunday as the Road Safety Awareness Sunday and has planned various activities around the theme. Motorists will be welcomed to take a pledge to obey traffic rules at different junctions in the city.
