College girl found dead in Vadapalani
A 24-year-old girl was found dead at her rented house in Vadapalani on Monday. Police suspect that the cause of death could be natural since she had prolonged illness.

The deceased, Rekha Raj, was a final-year biotechnology student of Jaya College of Arts and Science and hailed from Pudukkottai district.
On Monday evening, Rekha’s relative Kamal Kumar visited her house at Azhagiri Nagar and found her lying unconscious with frothing from mouth. She was rushed to Royapettah Hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
Police said Rekha Raj was afflicted with diabetes and high blood pressure and was under medication.
Rekha’s father Selvaraj, a businessman settled in Andamans, arrived here on Monday, while her body been sent for post-mortem and viscera tests. “We will know whether the death was unnatural only after we get the reports,” said a police officer.
