Perambur Corporation School board toppers felicitated
Javaaji Lakshmi Sujatha Charitable Trust distributed prizes and scholarships to deserving students on July 27, at the Chennai Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, Perambur.

The students and teachers rededicated themselves to achieve the dreams of the late President, Dr APJ Kalam. MV Cunnaiah Chetty, Trustee, DRBCC Charities, was the chief guest and distributed prizes to 40 Students who scored centum in Class 10 and 12 board examinations.
MJF Lion Javaaji Badrinath, Trustee, Lakshmi Sujatha Trust, distributed the scholarships, facilitating their further studies. Highlighting the critical role that donors play, he appealed to the students to be ambassadors of eye donation, blood donation and organ donation.
Lion R Murali, District Chairperson, Preventing Female Infanticide, Lions Clubs International District (324A1), was the guest of honour. Pointing out that in Tamil Nadu the ratio of girls to boys has fallen to 911 per 1,000 boys, he said empowerment of girl children can prevent female infanticide. Vummidi Balaji from Tiruvallur also participated in the event.
