Duo caught with weapons near Nandanam
The men have been identified as Aravindan (26) and Karankumar (18) and weapons were confiscated from them.

A 26-year-old historysheeter who was out just 25 days ago after being detained under Goondas Act, was chased and caught by Adambakkam police in the wee hours of Monday.
Police said that a duo in auto tried to escape when cops on night patrol stopped them at Adambakkam around 2 am and the cops chased them all the way to Nandanam.
The men have been identified as Aravindan (26) and Karan kumar (18) and weapons were confiscated from them. During the investigation, they found out the Aravindan was released from prison just 25 days ago. He possessed weapons to safeguard himself as he feared attack from opponents, said the investigation officer. The other person, Karan kumar, is said to be close associate of another accused, Robin. Both were arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
