Rich tributes paid to Anna on his 109th birth anniversary

Floral tributes were paid to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Dravidian stalwart C N Annadurai on the occasion of his 109th birth anniversary here on Friday. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, Ministers and MLAs paid floral tributes to a decorated portrait of the late leader. They also garlanded the statute of Anna on the arterial Anna Salai. MGR-Amma Deepa leader and the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s niece Deepa also paid her tributes. Leaders of various political parties, including DMK Working President M K Stalin, DMDK Founder Vijayakanth also paid floral tributes and garlanded the statue of Anna across the state.
