Bike thieves held during vehicle check

The accused, Gowtham (19) and Sridhar (19) of Ramapuram, stole a Honda Shine near Sabari Nagar in Porur on Tuesday. Ramasamy (45) of Perungudi, the owner of the bike, had filed a complaint that his vehicle parked in front of his office and had gone missing when he returned after work. Gowtham and Sridhar gave contradictory answers when intercepted by police, after which they were apprehended for further inquiry. They are yet to be remanded, said police sources.
