2 killed as car rams government bus

The deceased Kesavan (40) and Sujatha (35) were returning to Chidambaram from Chennai and when they were passing by Maduranthagam at 5.15 pm, the car suddenly lost control, ran across the median and hit a bus proceeding towards Chennai from Pattukottai. 

The car was completely damaged in the collision and Sujatha died on the spot. Kesavan too was declared brought dead at a nearby hospital. Abinesh, who was first rushed to Chengalpattu government hospital, was later referred to a private hospital in Chennai. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
