“We condemn Tamilisai Soundararajan for turning a political debate into an attack on an individual without any proof. She should tender an apology, otherwise we will resort to a legal action against her for defamation,” he said.

On Sunday, Tamilisai alleged that Tirumavalavan is known for holding kangaroo courts and for land grab. Meanwhile, nearly 50 VCK men burnt Tamilisai’s effigy in front of her house in Virugambakkam.

While all of them were detained by police, 12 men including Karikal Valavan and Adhavan have been remanded in judicial custody.
