LIBA, Fordham to offer joint MS programme
Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) plans to offer a joint MS programme with Fordham University, New York, in the fields of Business Analytics and Global Finance. In addition to this, it would set up of a Centre for Analytics and Insights in collaboration with TCS.

The announcements were made at the 36th annual convocation of LIBA, which was held recently. Over 235 students, consisting of two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), three year part-time PGDM, Ph.D and Executive Postgraduate programme from Maveric Systems received their certificates in various disciplines of Business Management.
Medals were awarded to academic toppers for their achievements across different streams, said a press release from LIBA. Addressing the students, chief guest Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, Nestlé India Limited, advised the students to focus on upgrading competency, continuous learning and to show credibility, commitment, courage and compassion.
“Your journey will not end until you feel fully confident of meeting uncertainties and challenges of life and dealing with successes and failures with a positive attitude,” he said. Success in a person’s career depends more on their soft skills like communication, good work relationship, problem solving and the attitude to see an opportunity for growth in all challenges they face, he added.
