Anti-vice squad rescues 15 women

The anti-vice squad of Central Crime Branch on Sunday arrested three men and rescued 15 women who were forced into flesh trade by them in Kanathur.

Two of the accused, Srinivas Sukkulu (29) and Venkateshwaralu (29), belong to Telangana, while the third accused Dharasigh Margham (43) is from Mumbai. 

The trio hired a beach house in Sathyasai Farm Street in Kanathur on East Coast Road near Muttukudu and were running a flesh trade with 15 women brought from different states. 

On a tip-off, the anti-vice squad sleuths raided the house and rescued the women. The accused have been remanded in judicial custody and the women have been referred to the government-run home.
