Mother’s suicide bid kills 2 girls

The deceased kids were identified as Lathika (3) and Yasika (one-and-half-year) and their mother Anitha (26) has been shifted from Sriperumbudur to Chengalpattu GH in a critical condition. Police said that Anitha and her husband Prakasam (30), a painter, are married for four years. 

Since, Prakasam did not earn enough to run the family, there were often quarrels between them and on Sunday afternoon Anitha took the extreme step along with her daughters.
