23-year-old killed in road mishap at Egmore
A 23-year-old man was run over by an omni bus on Gandhi-Irwin flyover on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as N Sai Krishnan (23) of Perambur.

Police said that Sai Krishnan, who was riding his scooter, was hit by an omni bus from behind. In the impact, he fell on the road and run over by the rear wheels of the bus. With severe head injuries, Sai Krishnan died on the spot and his body was sent to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) for post-mortem.
Anna Square traffic investigation police registered a case and arrested the bus driver, Jagannathan. Further investigation is on.
