Trio cons 102 persons of Rs 29 Lakhs promising TNSCB flats
Two men and a woman have cheated 102 persons of Rs 29 lakh on the promise of getting them houses in the under-construction TNSCB apartments at Ayapakkam.

While police have remanded K Manoharan (62) of Thiru Vi Ka Nagar and U Rushlee (25) of Otteri, a hunt has been launched for Rushlee’s mother Mehala alias Parveen, the main accused. Police said that Mehala approached Mahalakshmi, a private firm staff and promised her to get her a house in the TNSCB apartment for a sum of Rs 60,000. Mahalakshmi paid her and after that Mehala failed to respond. Mahalakshmi filed a complaint.
