235 kg of narcotics destroyed
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Chennai zone on Tuesday destroyed around 235.94 kg of various narcotics items seized pertaining to five cases.

The narcotics items include 147.5 kilograms of ganja, 2.03 kg of heroin, 49.7 kg of ephedrine, 22 kg pseudoephedrine, 14.95 kg pseudoephedrine were disposed at Chengalpet.
A senior officer from NCB said, all the cases were closed at the court and after getting a clearance from the court, the drugs were disposed.
