Pastor booked for ‘detaining’ kids in home for elderly
Weeks after the Kancheepuram district administration shut down a home for the elderly in Palleswaram, the Salaivakkam police in Kancheepuram have registered a case against pastor Thomas, who runs the organisation, St Joseph Hospices.

A case was registered under Sections 34 and 42 of the Juvenile Justice Care and Protection Act, 2015, for allegedly detaining the employees’ children.
