Regularise plot schemes, Corporation urges public

A press release issued by Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) said the cut-off date for considering regularization of unapproved plots and layouts was October 20, 2016. Further, those unapproved layouts where a part or full number of plots have been sold through a registered sale deed as on October 20, 2016 or later are considered for regularisation. 

“The in-principle layout framework is being approved by Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority and a total of 21 layout frameworks are approved and 200 layout frameworks are under process and the approval for the layout frame work will be issued soon,” the releases said.

The GCC is appealing to the public to submit applications and obtain regularisation of their plots lying in the approved layout frame work and get benefitted before May 3.
