27-year-old held for molesting minor in Villivakkam

The accused, U Selvam, was reportedly in a relationship with the minor. In November last year, he took her to his house and molested her. 

Later, the girl filed a complaint with the Villivakkam police. They investigated the case and found that the charges against Selvam were true. 

The police arrested three employees of a private firm on charges of stealing iron coils worth Rs 25 lakh from Chennai Port premises. The accused S Jayaprabhu, A Jeenath and B Ramesh were employees of Ohm company on Rajaji Salai.
