Man dies of asphyxiation while cleaning well

The deceased, Mohan, was a resident of Aadi Nagar in  Tambaram. Police said the well had not been cleaned for more than a decade and Mohan went into the well. As he got to the bottom, he realised that it cannot be cleaned and started climbing out of  it. But halfway up the well he fell unconscious. Soon, the Selaiyur police station and Tambaram fire station were informed. The force took his body out of the well and sent it for autopsy
