Woman goes missing with daughter
A 34-year-old woman and her seven-year-old daughter went missing from their house in T Nagar on Saturday. S Ismail of Dharmapuri, who lodged a complaint at the Pondy Bazaar police station said that his wife Spernisha and daughter Shamira went missing from the house when he returned from work.

After searching in the locality for a while and enquiring with the neighbours, they couldn’t be found. Spernisha is a house wife, he said in the police complaint. On Sunday morning, he lodged a police complaint. According to police sources, the woman eloped with a relative nearly 10 days ago and went to Cuddalore. However, both the families compromised between them and brought her back.
However, since she has went missing again, police suspect that she could have gone back to Cuddalore and a police team has rushed there.
