2 held for selling banned tobacco products in Guindy

According to a press release from the police department, officers raided a tea shop located near MRC bus stand and found tobacco products, banned by the state government, stocked for sale.

After seizing more than 100 packets of banned tobacco products, the City Police arrested Ganesan (52) and Balaji (24), both residents of Guindy. The accused were remanded in judicial custody. The crackdown on illegal tobacco products will continue, said the police officers.
