The youth, identified as Sabarinathan of Tittakudi in Cuddalore district, was said to be the actor’s fan and worked in a refreshment stall in the same locality. Determined to see the actor, he jumped into the office premises from the rear side of the building in Alwarpet.
After loitering around for a while, he tried to climb the compound wall to come out. He was spotted by a security guard and was handed over to police officers.
Police initially let him off as there was no complaint from the actor. However, a complaint was filed regarding the incident by one Devarajan on Saturday. In the complaint, he has claimed that he saw the youth climbing the compound wall of the building and sought his arrest for causing nuisance to the public. Sabarinathan was remanded in judicial custody on Saturday.
The ancestral property of Kamal Haasan currently houses both MNM party office as well as his production house Raajkamal Films.
