The event will be attended by leading researchers, policy makers, local practitioners and the representatives of private sectors, who would deliberate on the current scenario and the way forward within the framework of augmentation of supply and management of demand of water.
An official release said the consultation would discuss nine themes such as demand on water resources - scenarios and related impacts, impact of climate change on water resources, augmentation of water resources-ground water, conservation and effective use of water; water-use efficiency in agriculture - grassroots experiences and concerns in water management; water management-gender, ethics, rights, governance and behaviours, sea water as a resource – bio-saline agriculture, water recycling and reuse and policy issues.
