The gold that was hidden in razors

On Saturday, while they were checking the passengers, who arrived from Colombo in Sri Lankan Airlines, they intercepted Rajeshwaran (41) from Andhra Pradesh. Around 250 grams of gold, that was valued at Rs 8 lakh, that he had hidden inside his clothes was seized. 

While checking a passenger Kuthus, who arrived from Kuala Lumpur via Malaysian Airlines, the officers found three gold pieces hidden in the handle of his suitcase trolley. Around 200 grams of gold worth Rs 5 lakh was seized from him on Friday. 

In another incident, Umar Abdula (36), who also arrived from Kuala Lumpur in another flight, was intercepted on suspicion. He had concealed three pieces of gold, weighing around 150 grams, in new razors in his bag. The gold seized was valued at Rs 6 Lakh. All three have been detained for further enquiry.
