Largest infinity symbol by students for Guinness record
Students from Tamil Nadu have attempted to break a Guinness World Record by forming the largest human image of infinity symbol with over 500 participants, of length 35.7 meters and width 19.4 meters.

The attempt was made recently, which had led to a turnabout of 545 students belonging to SRMIST. Accordingly, from the beginning of its implementation at four past dawn, this event displayed the orchestral unity of the institution.
Organisers said that the “Largest human image of infinity symbol” holds meaning to being attempted as a world record. With “Aaruush Towards Infinity”, the theme, it displays the limitless boundaries of the human mind.
Participants said that this attempt required intense planning for its execution. It took a group of dedicated members, to come up with the plan and to be able to produce a formal invitation to the Guinness World Book of Record committee and to be able to convince them of us being able to pull it off.
To ensure the genuineness of the attempt, Sub Major Kishore Kumar Kik and Nb Sub Ravi P acted as the witnesses and M. Jancy Rani along with R. Mohanasundaram as timekeepers of the attempt.
With every batch of participants that entered the arena to form the image, a surge of excitement, nervousness and adrenaline filled the air.
The students finally stood beside each other and radiated with imminent success as they created the biggest infinity symbol.
The organising committee said that it worked very hard for maintaining calm and providing constant motivation to the participants that lead to a successful completion of the attempt.
