Woman stabs husband to save her FB friend
In a twisted tale of Facebook friendship, a woman and her sister attacked the former’s husband with a knife after he found a college youth hiding in his bathroom when he returned home from work unannounced, on Monday in Purasaiwalkam.

Kilpauk police arrested Seema (28), wife of Dinesh Kothari, her 18-year-old sister and Ravi Prakash (20) of Rajasthan, a college student, who had befriended the sisters over Facebook.
Police said Dinesh Kothari (40) left for his office in Vepery around 10 am on Monday. He returned home around 11.30 am to take an office file which he had reportedly forgotten in the morning. When he reached home and rang the doorbell, his wife Seema took some time to open the door.
After he entered the house, he went to the bedroom where he saw his wife’s sister standing near the bathroom. He sensed something was wrong and looked inside the bathroom to find a youth hiding inside.
“The sisters claimed that the youth was their relative,but he was not ready to believe them. He immediately called his brother. When he and his brother were grilling the youth and threatened him that they would hand over him to the police, Seema attacked them with a kitchen knife,” police said.
Following this, the police were informed. A police team went to the house, arrested Seema, her sister and Ravi Prakash under various Sections, including attempt to murder. Police hinted that Seema and her sister had entertained their Facebook friend in the past also.
