Youth held with weapons kills self

The deceased, B Manikandan, was a former student of Pachaiyappa’s College and was arrested in June along with a bunch of students in possession of weapons at Flower Bazaar. Manikandan, who recently came out on bail, should appear in police station on daily basis. Meanwhile, Manikandan hanged self in his house in Kalaignar Nagar in Sathangadu, where his family recently shifted. His parents noticed him hanging from ceiling and alerted Sathangadu police, who have registered a case under the CrPC 174. Further inquiry is on to ascertain why he took the extreme step.
