Two drivers die in accident on NH
Two truck drivers were killed and the cleaner was injured when they were hit by another truck while repairing the vehicle that had broken down on the Chennai-Tiruchy National Highway in the wee hours of Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Aravind Singh (38) and Mithra Singh (35) from Chhattisgarh. The injured cleaner, Shameer Singh (19) was admitted at Chengalpattu Medical College Hospital.
The truck carrying iron rods from Chhattisgarh was on the way to Tiruchy when it broke down on Wednesday night. As Aravind Singh and Shameer were repairing it, another truck from Chhattisgarh driven by Mithra Singh stopped his vehicle to help them.
That was when a third truck hit the parked vehicle from behind. A team from Maduranthagam police, who rushed to the spot found Aravind Singh and Mithra Singh dead on the spot and sent the bodies for a post mortem examination to Maduranthagam GH. Police registered a case and are on a look out to nab the driver of the third vehicle, who escaped.
