2 cows from Vijayakant’s house in Kattupakkam go missing
Two cows that were kept at an under-construction building owned by DMDK president Vijayakant were reportedly stolen at Kattupakkam near Poonamallee on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the actor-turned-politician is constructing a new house in Kattupakkam. The construction work, which started two years ago, was stopped recently. Apparao, the caretaker of the house, and his family stay in the place and were looking after the three cows, police added.
On Wednesday night, Apparao went to sleep after tying the cows inside the shed in the premises. But when he woke up on Thursday morning, he realised two of the three cows were missing and alerted the DMDK party workers about it.
Sriram, a party office bearer lodged a complaint with the Poonamallee police station. Police said they have started the probe. “We are browsing the CCTV footages in the neighbourhood and looking for clues,” police sources said.
