Car thief nabbed in Anna Nagar

The car belongs to Dr R Arunkumar (45) of Adyar, who parked the vehicle near the Sundaram Medical Foundation at Shanthi Colony on Sunday evening. When he returned a few hours later, he found the car missing and lodged a complaint at the Anna Nagar police station. Swinging into action, police alerted patrol vehicles and intensified checks. Meanwhile, the car was intercepted at Chinthamani and identified as the stolen vehicle. B Prabhudoss alias Prabhu (24), who drove the car was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
