The four youngsters identified as Chetan, Prabath, Premji and one more person were secured by Anna Salai crime wing on Sunday night. They were kept in the police station for about two nights before being remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday.

When inquired, police personnel at the station said that they could not understand the suspects’ language and had opted for help from outsiders. Though the youngsters have been arrested on cheating charges, inspector S Arunachala Raja refused to comment on how they established that they were involved in looting of passengers.
