Speaking to DT Next, the Minister claimed that he had nothing to do with the incident as described in the Whatsapp audio clip which was leaked on Sunday night. “I have been opposing VK Sasikala and TTV Dhinakaran who were ousted from AIADMK.

This is a handiwork of my political enemies for cheap political mileage,” Jayakumar alleged. “I am not leaving this and there will be suitable action against those involved in this defamatory act,” the Minister added.

“The voice in the audio is not mine and this is a doctored attempt by my rivals. I completely deny the defamatory audio clips and the unconfirmed media reports,” Jayakumar told reporters later in the day.

Jayakumar alleged that Dhinakaran group had doctored a Facebook photo of his with unidentified women last year, which the Cyber Wing police had investigated and arrested three persons.

“This is their second attempt to silence me. I will face this frivolous case legally. I am ready for all kinds of tests to prove that this is a foisted one against me,” Jayakumar added.

Meanwhile, an online complaint by Tiruchy-based Suresh Prabhu with National Human Rights Commission and Union Ministry of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance also surfaced, alleging that the Minister had continuously raped a young girl who went to him seeking a recommendation.

The complaint, without revealing details, alleged that the Minister raped the girl on several occasions. However, the complainant’s details and phone numbers could not be verified by this newspaper.
