Sarkar Controversy: Police visit Director Murugadoss's house
Director AR Murugadoss tweeted that Police had come to his house late in the night and banged the door several times and had left the premises as he wasnt there.

"Police had come to my house late tonight and banged the door several times.Since I was not there they left the premises. Right now I was told there is no police outside my house.", Director AR Murugadoss tweeted.
On Thursday, an theatre owners' body announced that the edited version would be screened from Friday afternoon,while sources in the 'Sarkar' crew said a "compromise" has been reached.
Earlier in the day, posters of the film were damaged across theatres in the state by angry AIADMK cadre.
