SRM donates Rs 1 crore to CM Relief Fund
While the students from SRM are helping out people affected by the Gaja Cyclone in delta regions, Dr T R Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor, SRM group handed Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

Teachers, members of admin and staff of SRM have contributed their one-day salary for the betterment of delta regions affected by the Gaja Cyclone.
A 40-member student team of SRM went to Delta regions to rescue people affected by the calamity. In a span of 5 days, the fallen trees covering the roads and homes of people were cleared in Manjavayal, Ganapathipuram, Thondaiman Oorani, Rajapudhur, Adhiramapattinam, and some other places in Pudhukottai district.
They are now helping resuscitate schools affected by the cyclone and are planning to continue the relief measures for 10 more days.
To speed up the recovery process, the SRM group has invested Rs 60 lakh to provide basic needs for every affected individual. A 30-member team of medical professionals representing SRM have been working since last week in around 7 regions and have provided medical relief to 3000 people so far.
In addition, relief materials worth Rs 30 lakh have been distributed so far and more materials will be distributed in the coming days to those affected in the delta region of Tamil Nadu.
