Most memorable cooking experience:
When I was studying abroad, I used to call home daily asking for easy-to-make dal recipes. But after getting the recipe, I felt like it is not a big deal and started making the dish with a lot of confidence. But most of the time, the dal I prepared got burnt. The same happened with simple poriyals also. Because of my trial and error learning method, I became a better cook now.
Passionate baker:
I like to cook desserts like payasam. Baking is another passion — I make chocolate brownies. But my masterpiece is healthy banana bread with lots of nuts. I love baking it for my family and friends.
Favourite cuisine:
It would be a mix of north Indian and south Indian dishes.
Favourite food destination:
Well, Hyderabad is my current favourite. I recently discovered the whole new Andhra cuisine. I have started exploring various spices available only in Andhra Pradesh. I love the gongura mutton preparation.
Comfort food:
I can eat any form of dosa at any time of the day. I also like to have idlies. But my comfort food would be sambar rice.
