MTC to run 480 special buses

The special arrangement has been made to ease the congestion at 15 tourist places located in various pockets in and around city, including Anna Square, Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Vandalur, VGP, Kovalam, Mahabalipuram, Queensland, Besant Nagar, Broadway, Tambaram, Tiruvanmiyur, Kishkintha, MGM, Muttukadu, Guindy Children’s Park and Island Grounds.

The special services to these destinations will be operated from all the bus stops.

Besides, the corporation operated 250 additional buses to six terminals, including Madhavaram new bus terminus, Tambaram (MEPZ), Tambaram railway station bus terminus, Poonamallee terminus, Dr MGR Koyambedu bus terminus and KK Nagar bus terminus, during this festival season. The service was made available to passengers round-the-clock.
