Celebrations begin in Rajini household

The event was held at the Superstar’s Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Kodambakkam and was attended by family and friends.

The couple chose to appear in traditional South India attire, with Soundarya draped in a blue saree and the groom-to-be in a white veshti and shirt.

Rajinikanth, his wife Latha, elder daughter Aishwarya and son Yatra were seen by the couple’s side and were joined by relatives among whom music composer Anirudh Ravichander, Hrishikesh Krishnakumar, Mohan Ravichander were also present. The guests were presented with a neem seed ball as a gift.  The main wedding followed by another reception will be held at Leela Palace on February 11.
