Two nabbed in beauty parlour robbery case
Two persons of a four-member gang who robbed three women, including the owner of a beauty parlour and two customers, were nabbed on Thursday night.

The accused were identified Karthik (30) of Kannigapuram in Pulianthope and Abbas (32) of Tiruvalluvar Cross Street in Thiru-vi-ka Nagar.
On February 25, four masked men barged into the parlour in Ganesh Nagar, Kolathur and robbed its owner Savithri (37) at knifepoint. They had covered their face using a handkerchief to conceal their identity. They also robbed two customers and escaped on bikes with gold and six mobile phones.
Based on a complaint from Savithri, the Kolathur police browsed the CCTV footage and found that four men came on two bikes. The police traced the bikes using their registration numbers and intercepted two juveniles riding one of the bikes. They told the police that a person named Karthik had given them the bike. Based on their inputs, the police nabbed Karthik and Abbas. During questioning, the duo confessed to the crime,said sources.
The police said that the bike belonged to John, who was also a suspect in the case. They have launched a hunt for John and his friend Umar.
The police said that the suspects were regular offenders. They foundit easy to target beauty parlours and rob customers there, said sourcesin the city police.
