Hunt on for man for raping 8-year-old

The victim is a daughter a woman who got separated from her husband. Police said Koteeswaran from the same locality, who is working on a tiffin stall, became close to the 8-year-old girl by giving her snacks and chocolates. On Thursday evening, he took the child to his house and sexually assaulted her. 

When the woman found out what happened and confronted Koteeswaran, he allegedly threatened her and also offered money. 

But she filed a complaint at the SP office, learning about which Koteeswaran escaped from the village. The Kancheepuram All-Women Police have registered a case in this connection and are looking for the suspect.
