Actor arrested for harassing Russian model in city

The accused, identified as Rupesh Kumar, is a budding actor who also runs an advertisement agency. He had befriended her at a pub. The Russian woman, who is married and has also acted in a recently-released horror flick, trusted him when he invited her for a photoshoot.

However, Rupesh Kumar clicked inappropriate photos in the guise of helping her. Later, he showed the photos and threatened her to oblige to his demands of sexual favours.

As he continued to harass her despite several warnings, she approached the police and submitted a petition on April 14. The cyber crime wing, who investigated the case, arrested Rupesh Kumar.
